Display recognition in Guest Windows 7

I have installed 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate as the guest OS in Virtual Box running in the the Snow Leopard Host. However, I have two problems:
(1) There doesn't appear to be seamless support (e.g. the option is grayed out) - is this correct?
(2) When I move to full screen mode in the Guest OS the "generic display" that windows recognizes only uses a full height square and doesn't stretch to utilize the wide screen of the iMac. Do I need to find iMac display drivers for Windows or can this be fixed in VirtualBox?
Thanks for all your help!

Did you install the Guest Additions?

I have not... how do I install the guest additions?
Im also finding that Win7 is having trouble with the hardware acceleration of the video card (I have allocated 128 MB video memory to Win7 and enabled 2D and 3D acceleration).

You need to install the guest additions in safe mode to get the acceleration. Also you do not need to apply more than 32 meg of vRam as the acceleration does not use the graphics card direct. On the devices tab at the top left of the windows click on install guest additions.
Then browse the CD from the file manager and click the additions there. Follow the install prompts and reboot when done.

Thanks guys, I was able to install the guest additions and I now have seamless mode working great, however I still get the following error:
"Hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow performance. etc..."
I had first installed guest additions in Win7 normal boot up, then I booted in safe mode and the guest additions showed as already installed... do i need to do anything differently?
Thank you!

Yes, you need to re-install the guest additions with Windows booted in safe mode.
