Can anyone who works on the development on the Mac side of VirtualBox explain to me why every Ubuntu based Linux since 9.10 has slow audio at times and VMware doesn't? There does now seem to be a couple of non Ubuntu based Linux distros with the same issue. It's just frustrating because I much prefer VirtualBox for a number of reasons, oddly none are the price. I just get frustrated having to restart a guest over and over till the audio is finally right. I do wish someone could address the problem.

running Snow Leopard 10.6.2

I guess there's no one who either has this issue on a Mac (which I know isn't true) or no one wants to address the issue.
