Hi friends,
Firstly I'd like to say that I'm very happy when noticing that the snapshot feature has been significantly improved in the latest release of VirtualBox (3.1). And I just have 2 questions. Suppose I have the following snapshot tree:
ss1
|---ss2
|-----|---ss4
|-----------|---ss5
|------------------|---cs
|---ss3
where ssi stands for snapshot i, and cs stands for currentState.
My questions are:
1. Is the above tree possible?
2. If I move from cs to ss2, will ss5 be lost?
Thanks in advance!

Good questions. I tried practically what you are asking. Check my site http://virtualization.sysprobs.com/bran ... virtualbox. I'm sure it will clear your doubt.

Thank you very much for your detailed and useful post.
Yes, it does answer all of my above questions.
And I can happily say that, with these new improvements, virtualBox is now as powerful as VMware. Thank you for this awesome software.
