Can I share guests in Linux and Windows Hosts?

Post by cwang36 »

I have a dual boot system with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10, both have VirtualBox 3.0.12 installed. My guest machines are created in Windows host. Is it possible to use the guest machines under my Ubuntu host? Since both the operating system can access the partition on which the guest OS is stored. I tried to link .VirtualBox under Windows to ~/.VirtualBox, but apparently they use a different .VirtualBox.xml, which prevented the linux virtualbox to see the guests.
