first time user, how to mount iso

Post by decipherfreak »

Hi, first time using VirtualBox. I was going off of Lifehacker's guide, but I'm lost on how to mount an iso to a virtual machine because the guide is based on older version of VirtualBox. The Settings window is different and I can't find where to choose iso to mount. Thanks!

Well, since you're already reading things, why not the Manual? Click through the new Storage GUI (if you're using 3.1.0) and it will start to make some sense. Select the CD drive in the middle, then the ISO on the right side from the drop down menu.
