Windows 7 Guest aborts with VB 3.1.0

I just downloaded and installed the Mac OS X host version of VB 3.1.0, updating the previous working version. I then installed the latest Windows additions for WIndows 7 64-bit. Accepting the invitation to restart my guest session now aborts, unless I select the safe mode option offered by Windows, having detected the abort.

Was installing the latest Windows additions a step too far?

I attach a log file.

Is it a bug or have I done something wrong?

Mac OS X SL 10.6.2, Windows 7 64-bit up to date.

I have since logged on as another (normal) user on my Mac accessing the same instance of VB and the VDI, and have not had an abort. Perhaps something is corrupted in my original (administrator) user's VB preferences.

I have since invoked VB again as the normal Mac user and the Windows guest aborted. I tried starting the session again and it worked. Curious!
