Screen resolutions

I have Windows 7 running under Ubuntu 9.1 and Virtualbox 3.0.12. My Acer monitor is 1920x1200. I've read the help as to how to add new resolutions, but I'm unclear as to how to implement the change. Do you change from a terminal, or do you change something in some configuration file?

Make sure you install Guest Additions (section 4 of the user manual).
Then Host+G ('Auto-resize guest display') and Host+F ('Fullscreen') should get Windows 7 to full screen.

Thanks Mark,

On the Linux end I found that you have to integrate the nVidia driver into the X11 windowing system. Once that was
done, Ubuntu ran much faster and looks better too.

On the guest side (Win7) integrating nVidia w/X11 changed the available screen resolutions, but not correctly.
Nevertheless, the top one offered just leaves a bit off either side of the screen, so I guess it's ok. At least
round objects look round and type is well feathered.

Gary
