1366 x 768?

Post by Kelt-Tec »

I have installed Win XP and Vista guest operating systems, but there is one problem. My computer has a 1366 x 768 resolution. The default startup resolution is 800 x 600; and when I try to change it from the guest OS control panel I only have 4 other options, and none of them are 1366 x 768.

How do I set the guest OS for a 1366 x 768 resolution?

I had the same problem. After installing the Guest addition the solution 1366 x 768 is working in full screen mode.

1366x768 is not a normal resolution. It's a new wide screen resolution, thus you can't select it by default. Also, without the GA, you won't get anything higher than 800x600 anyway.
