Hi All,
I am running Virtual Box 3.0.12r54655 on Windows Vista Home Premium (Version 6.0 Build 6002 Service Pack 2). I have created a Windows XP SP3 Guest (Version 5.1 Build 2600.xpsp.080413-2111 Service Pack 3).
The virtual machine is running fine, with the exception of Seamless mode, when I activate seamless mode on the guest OS the Start menu and task bar do not appear on the host OS. The guest looks as if seamless mode has worked, that is, I have to press R-CTRL + L to get back to the VM but no menu appears on the host OS.
I've tried re-installing without 3d support, upgrading to the latest version and searched around a little on the problem to no avail. It's not a major issue, but would be nice if I could get it to work.
Does anybody have any ideas on what I could try/check next?
Thanks.

Re: Windows Vista SP2 and Seamless Mode
Just a quick update,
I am running two LCD panels at different resolutions. Primary monitor is wide screen running at resolution 1366x768 and the secondary monitor is a 4:3 monitor running at 1280x1024 resolution.
When I disable the secondary monitor, start the VM and activate seamless mode I can see the start menu.
It would seem that Virtual Box doesn't appear to play nicely with multiple monitor configurations running with different resolutions.
If anyone has any idea on how to get it working without disabling any monitors or changing resolutions that would be great, otherwise I'll wait for updates.
Thanks again.
EDIT: I have since enabled the secondary monitor and restarted the VM. Seamless mode is now working appropriately.

Re: Windows Vista SP2 and Seamless Mode
AFAIK seamless only works on the main monitor.
