VboxGuestAdditions.iso is sitting in my Windows XP 'Virtual Disk Manager' CD/DVD Images window.
What is it? Do I need it and if so, what do I do with it, please?

That is the guest additions. Have you installed them yet?
If so then click on the device tab at the top and then unmount CD/DVD
By the way they should be left in the media manager in case you need to reinstall then in the guest again.

Maybe - I don't know ! I can see VboxGuestAdditions.iso in the 'Virtual Media Manager' as 'Not Attached', but nowhere else. I can't find any mention of VboxGuestAdditions in the docs.Perryg wrote:That is the guest additions. Have you installed them yet?

Thanks - the reason I didn't see it was that I searched for 'VboxGuestAddtions'!
