GERR_GENARAL_FAILURE 080004005 starting up the VM

Hi there

I have some trouble starting the VM.
I just installed the newest version of virtual box, created a new virtual machine and added a new Ubuntu ISO.
Every time I start the virtual machine I get an error - GERR_GENARAL_FAILURE with the error code 0x080004005

I run virtual box at windows xp sp3 with an admin account.

Any ideas?

Re-install and select repair mode, then reboot the Host.

Hi

I reinstalled the newest version 3.0.10 54097 and repaired virtual box, but after a reboot its still the same error.

Maybe I should mention that I just installed virtual box and that its my first time using it and that I'm getting this error from the first time I tried to start the VM.

And btw. I also tried to delete the virtual hard disk file, deleted the .virtualbox folder and started from the beginning and loaded a new Ubuntu image.
