Hi,
I got this error message when installing win 2k.
anyone can help?
"FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted."
please advise, thanks

Create an ISO and use that.

How to create an ISO? i have the copy cd of win2k.. how can do it... please advise, thanks..

If the original disc doesn't boot, nor on your real system, creating an ISO will be useless. There is another thing you can do though. Copy the files to your hard drive, grab
nLite, install .NET framework so it works and create a bootable ISO with it.

Are you mounting your host's CD/DVD drive on the guest?
Settings>CD/DVD-ROM>'Mount CD/DVD Drive' selected>'Host CD/DVD Drive' selected, then put the Win2K CD in your host's CD drive and start the VM. The FAQ link that Sasquatch posted is recommended reading.
