windows 2000 missing files.
I am trying to gather all the info I need to try a ubuntu linux install in windows. Reading on the VB website I ran across the info that it would work on win2k but there was some missing files. Since I am starting with a fresh install of windows I am going to need those files. Looking around I could not find any info on which files I would need. Is there a list somewheres I am not finding. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Re: windows 2000 missing files.
If you want to use Windows 2000 as host, the last version that's supported for it is 1.5.6. It's not recommended to use that ancient version (over two years old). If you want to run newer versions of VB, you need a newer version of Windows.
