How well can virtualbox handle Softphone VOIP?
I want to virtually test the following:
a) Coccinella
b) Mumble
c) Qutecom
d) Freeswitch
Items "a-c" are softphone clients while item "d" is a server but it would only be used as a client.
I am trying to successfully test something that is open source and cross platform. The final goal: install something (virtual or physical) in my dad's and mom's computers so they can make cheap and / or free calls within the USA and abroad. Webcam support would be nice, but is not required.
In short: simple needs - nothing complex, but if possible I want to test them in virtualbox before doing anything else. Before testing in virtualbox, I thought it a good idea to request your input and experiences.
