Re: Cant access ubuntu server from another computer
Hi,
first check what is your network adapter settings in VirtualBox - click Settings button and then in Network tab check "Attached to" drop down box. Is it set to NAT? If so, then change this to bridged.
By the way what is your version of Ubuntu and VirtualBox? Do you use vbox 2.0.x then you have to define network bridges, if using 3.0.x then this is not needed (must not be done according to my knowledge). Please write more info about your system.
Then check if you have some kind of software that is blocking connection, like firewall on host and guest. Do you have ufw enabled on Ubuntu server?
Regards
