Windows logo --> without possibility to continue

Hi All,

I was trying to update my VirtualBox version from 2.0.2 to 3.0.10
but the installation didn´t finish.
After "not pass in the Windows logo test" message , the only button available was
the "Close" one.
I tryed to reinstall VB 2.0.2 and 2.1.4 without success and with the same message.
How can I solve this issue ? I have to use my *.vdi machine as soon as possible (

NOTE:
Notebook Lenovo ThinkPad R61i , OS Win XP SP3, administrator priviledges;
VirtualBox with OS Win XP SP3, administrator priviledges.

Two things that you can do to see if you can get this installed:

1. Right click on the install program and then left click on run as admin.
or
2a If that fails you need to reinstall version 2.X.X and select repair. (DO NOT reboot)
2b Run the version 2.X.X install again and tell it to uninstall (DO NOT reboot)
2c Run the new Version 3.0.X install and see if it works (This time reboot)
