I am unable to install Virtualbox (using build 3.0.10) on my Win7 x64 host machine.
I have tried every combination of disabling networking, python, and USB, but to no avail. The progress bar halts about 3/4 of the way through the installation and hangs for several minutes. Then the installer says that the installation ended prematurely and gives my an ERROR: 1603 dialog. :/
I have tried running the installer as Administrator and everything else I can think of...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Wont install on Win7 64 bit.. :(
That support page indicates the following:
* The folder that you are trying to install the Windows Installer package to is encrypted.
* The drive that contains the folder that you are trying to install the Windows Installer package to is accessed as a substitute drive.
* The SYSTEM account does not have Full Control permissions on the folder that you are trying to install the Windows Installer package to. You notice the error message because the Windows Installer service uses the SYSTEM account to install software.
Unfortunately, I am not trying to install to an encrypted folder nor a substitute drive, and I am a full administrator account as well as have used "Run as Administrator" to execute the installer.
I am installing to the default location, and have tried others as well.
