Re: Multiple monitor screen redraw problem w. 64 bit SL kernel?
This is another "Me Too". I just switched to the 64bit kernel for Snow Leo (10.6.4) so I can allocate more memory to my VB server 2008 R2 VM, to have the screen tearing issues on my second monitor. VB is the latest 3.2.8. I hope this issue is still being worked on.

A suggestion:
Check out your Power Management settings in Windows - Tell Windows not to power down the monitor(s)

Re: Multiple monitor screen redraw problem w. 64 bit SL kernel?
I'm having this issue as well. Is it a driver issue on OS X's side?
I'm running Snow Leopard in the full 64-bit kernel as well. Two monitors (Macbook Pro's native 15" and an external ASUS LCD).
When VirtualBox is in windowed mode, Ubuntu looks fine. As soon as I run it in full screen mode or seamless mode, it has difficulty redrawing and I have to move windows around and/or open menus to get it to redraw.

Re: Multiple monitor screen redraw problem w. 64 bit SL kern
I am still experiencing the redraw bug in the secondary monitor in 4.1.6. I had no problem a few versions ago, but then I upgraded (or downgraded, apparently) to the most recent version, and voila! The problem appeared.

FYI -- I upgraded to 4.2.4 and then 4.2.6 and experienced the screen refresh issue on the secondary monitor. I reverted to v4.1.4 and the issue went away.
