I have an Ubuntu 9.10 VM running, and all works great, but I want to set this VM up as a web server. How can I get the VM to get its IP from my router? I want to be able to access the web site I'm creating from any of my machines.

Thanks,
Anthony

Simplest to use Bridged, which will do as you want, see section 6 of the user manual.
Settings>Network>Attached to: Bridged Adapter.

NAT could also work, but you would have to port forward (see section 6.4.1 of the manual), and share the host's IP and port numbers.
