Why Virtual Guest memory limited to 1.5G

Post by nguyenhung77478 »

Hi,

I installed Linux Fedora 11 guest on Wd XP but Linux memory is limited 1.5G.

When I run netbeans on Linux it's really slow...everything becomes slow.

I have 4G memory but can not assign more than 1.5G to guest.

In the future can VBox board removes this limite and let user assign the memory available to guest system?

Thanks

The 1.5 Gig memory limit was due to the problem Windows has in 32 bit address space.
Using more than this will cause the guest and the host to crash.
