XP Guest crashes when using Uppercase

Hi There,

Ive only been using virtualbox for about 2 weeks, all has been going great apart from an issue i'm having, where I cant type using uppercase, using either the shift key, or caps lock.
The Guest will display the letter correctly, then after a short pause it will crash with 'Virtualbox GUI needs to close...', dll: icm32.dll

This seems to happen only when I am running software called "Qmaster Desktop V3.1.0.169" (Phone control software) on the host

System Details:
VB: 3.0.10
HP Compaq 6710b Laptop
Host: XP SP3
Guest: XP SP2
Happens using laptop keyboard and external usb keyboard

Anyone got any ideas?
I can post logs, but Iam not sure which ones would be required

Do you have a good virus software package up-to-date? I would run it.
While it can be other problems the file that you are talking about (icm32.dll) is commonly indicated as a problem when you have virus or malware problems.

The host is running Symantec EndPoint
The Guest is running ANG Free
Both these are fully updated

The host was only formatted and reinstalled a week ago, it contains all latest windows patches

icm32.dll has been known to cause problems with some printer drivers in the past. That might be the problem. If you still want to test for malware in the dll, you can use Anubis, which is solely for windows binaries or an on-line scanner such as Jottis or VirusTotal. I prefer the on-line scanners because they use 20+ scanners. As you know, no virus scanner ever finds everything. It is also helpful to rule out false positives.
