Guest OS always running?

Primary OS: MS Windows 2003
VBox Version: OSE other
Guest OSses: windows7

Guest OS always running?

I have a Windows 2003 server with VBox 3.0.10 installed. my guest OS is Windows7 ulitmate. is it possible to have the guest os running all of the time regardless if I shutdown the Virtual box application?

If you mean the GUI, then yes you can close that window and the VM will continue to run.

Given that the GUI we're talking about is the list of VMs you see, not the actual VM display GUI. If you don't want to have the VM display running, run the VM in headless mode and access it through (V)RDP.
