I am having an issue upgrading to 3.0.10 on windows xp pro sp3.
The first few times I tried upgrading it would get to the end (progress bar at 100%) and just sit there. Task manager says 'Ready'. I click cancel and nothing happens. I didn't see the dialogs saying 'Continue Anyway' and 'Stop' - had to ctrl+alt+del to exit setup. The third time I tried my previous version of virtual box was removed.
I tried again and is seemed to work - I saw the Continue Anyway dialogs but again at 100% it just froze there. I rebooted the system and when it came back up there was a new unknown network device... Virtualbox seemed to be installed and I am able to run my Virtual machines fine... I still have this unknown network adapter in the hosts device manager though...
Anyone know what is wrong?
