Windows 7 hangs upon starting VM
Posted: 4. Nov 2009, 02:06
Hello,
My machine freezes (Windows 7 hangs entirely -- becomes unresponsive) when I attempt to start a virtual machine.
The VirtualBox installation went just fine.
I created a new virtual machine (the settings part inside VirtualBox application) without problems.
But as soon as I try to start (power on) the virtual machine I created, my computer hangs. I never got to the point of installing a guest OS.
The Vbox.log file has no errors or warnings in it.
I am running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit (purchased copy). The VirtualBox version is 3.0.10 build 54097.
Is this a known issue?
Thank you.
