64 guest problems

I have the following:
Intel Mobile Core 2 Due T5800 and 4 gig memory with Intel VT-d enabled in BIOS
Vista Home 64-bit OS
VirtualBox 3.0.10 r54097

I am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit as the guest OS.
In VirtualBox, VT-x/AMD-V is enabled.

BUT, when creating a new machine, there is no 64-bit option for any OS. And when I just select Windows 7 and install my Windows 7 Ultimate, upon machine reboot I get a message saying that this cpu is not 64-bit capable.

Is VirtualBox broken? Am I doing something wrong? What is going on?
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled VB a few times. Getting a bit irritated.

Are you completely sure that your bios supports hardware-v?
It should state hardware virtualization in it somewhere.
If VirtualBox does not give you an option for 64 bit guests it does not see that the PC (not just the CPU) supports hardware virtualization.

vt-d is NOT vt-x.
