windows 7 64-bit host ubuntu guest problem

running windows 7 64 bit as host with ubuntu 8.04 as guest, every thing works great except the screen size. when i go to full screen only half of the screen is used up, i have tried to find out how to make the complete screen fill up but with no luck, using vb 3.0.8, any help out there,
