Can not make fullscreen
I cant make my virtualbox guest system to go fullscreen. I am running VB on Win 7. When I try making it fullscreen, the window goes fullscreen but the guest OS size remains the same.

Re: Can not make fullscreen
Start the guest and click on the device tab at the top and then install guest additions.
Haven't you looked around the controls and tabs yet?
You might find some really useful information in the VBox Users Guide. Click help then contents in the VBox program.

Re: Can not make fullscreen
Ok I finally was able to install guest additions and I must say the automatic capture of mouse is a super cool function. Unfortunately I was still not able to achieve fullscreen. The window maximizes but the OS still remains of the same size.

Re: Can not make fullscreen
press host+G and then host+F.
It may be that you are not in auto-resize mode yet.

Re: Can not make fullscreen
Thanks a lot. You were right I was not in the auto re-size mode.
Also thank you for your initial advise of going through all the menu options. I had a prejudice that I will not like VB and soon get rid of it. So why waste time looking around. During the exploration I found this cool feature of seamless operation of Guest OS on Host OS. Wow, I never imagined using VB would become so easy. Now I think I can never give up VB.
I now have XP performance with Win 7 looks, which is awesome. I am not even sure if MS virtual PC can duplicate this.
Thanks once again.
