Cant get dedicated HD space

Post by riskyayush »

I dedicated 15GB of HDD space for Win XP as a guest OS. I am using a Win 7 OS as host OS. After deleting XP, I discovered that my 15GB dedicated space is not back. How can I get this space back?

Removing a VM is not the same as removing it's virtual hard drive. You have to remove the actual VDI through the Media Manager. First you detach it from any VM it may be attached to, then you unregister it. After the unregister question, you're asked to remove the physical file too or keep it.
