SAP MDM on Windows XP or Windows 7

I have installed SAP MDM client software on a Windows 7 quest. The host is MAC OS X. Only the SAP MDM console client isn't working. When connecting to a server the program crashes. It also happens on a XP guest. It isn't the software because it runs perfectly on native Windows 7 or XP machine.
I've tried different networks, compatible options in Windows without any luck.
Does somebody can give me a hint?

What else is crashing, if not the software
Perhaps the client cannot connect to the server
- is the server reachable via ping?
- which protocol is used by the client?
- are there any error messages?

SAP is a bit of a b*tch to get working but it can be done, we need more info like VM->OS settings, most of the issues are solved by going with 3.0.10

Nothing else is crashing. I can reach the MDM server through the data manager and the import manager. Also the "seachui" is reachable. It is only the console that crashes when it tries to connect to the server.
VM setting is 1024 MB of memory 128 MB of video memory, 3d acceleration is on. All other settings are standard. I've got some shared folders. If you need more information, please let me know.
Any suggestions will still be fine, but I hope that 3.0.10 will fix this...

Disable 3d and vRDP.

I disabled 3D. vDRP was already disabled. However no luck with the new settings. Do I need to re-install the guest additions?

Remove the GA completely first, don't forget to revert the d3d drivers.

Ok, what do you mean with reverting the d3d drivers?

Make sure the VBox 3d drivers are gone or use a restore point.
