Disable Bridged Adapter

Hi,

I'm setting up some development workstations, Windows 7, 64-bit is the host, with VirtualBox 3.0.8. Is it possible to remove "Bridged Adapter" from the Network configuration settings? We would like to allow our developers to create VM's as needed, but do not want any VM that they create bridged onto our production network, which is where the host machine sits. I would like to be able to just remove it from the list, so it's not even an option for them to select. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
David

You can deselect it from the adapter and use policies, however bridge mode is essential for alot of VM development usages that require network resources.

can you give me some examples of when they would need bridged mode? I tested accessing network resources in NAT mode and that seems to work fine. I'm trying to make sure that they don't build a vm of say win 2003 and turn on dhcp while in bridged mode.

Thanks,
David

ea. If services on VM's are accessed from elsewhere.
