Dear Helper,
I have Windows XP Professional as the host and guest OS. My aim, which i'm failing up to now, is to connect from host OS to guest OS by rdesktop (http://www.rdesktop.org), which is software for remote desktop connection.
The IP found at VirtualBox Ethernet Adapter on the host OS is provided as the target IP for rdesktop, but when connection is established the logon dialog of the host OS appeared, not the guest OS.
The guest OS network is attached to "Bridged Adapter".
Any help are welcomed,
Regards,
Sergey.

Re: rdesktop connection failed
Start the guest and open a command window.
type ipconfig /all. This will show you the correct IP address to use.
