Windows Server 2008 crashes after install guest additions

Hello,
I am running Windows Server 2008 on a small Debian Lenny box with a Celeron D 1.2 (no VT) and everything goes fine (I can install and start the OS OK) until I install the Guest Additions!
On the next reboot (after installing GA), after logging in, the VM window just disappears! There is nothing in the log to indicate an error!!!
Any ideas?

Actually the error only occurs with a VNC session.
The server is remote so the only way for me to set it up was through VNC.
If I connect to the VM through VRDP everything is fine.
It sounds like a bug - should I fill in a bug report?

Hi
I have recently installed VB and are trying to get 2008 R2 to work. But no such luck.I have managed to install and register the OS but when the Guest Additions are installed the server just abandons with a bluescreen and a STOP message. No devicedriver or other reference...
The guest OS works in safe mode without network... I have tried to disable the NIC but with the same result.
VB 3.1.2
It seems to me that the problem is the Guest Additions, since you have the same problem but with another host. Is there anyone running Windows 2008 R2 with 3.1.2 Guest Additions?
Best regards
Christian

Try the GA 2.2.4 or 3.0.8 or 3.0.12
