After upgrading to v.3.0.8 my computer (2x opteron 290/win7 RC1 build 7100) BSOD:s whenever i start a XP guest that was installed with 3.0.2.
The info given in BSOD is that "a clock request sent by one cpu was not answered in the time required". The bsod happens a short time after the guest is started (1-2 minutes) and in addition the guest hangs immediately when trying to access an USB scanner (HP 3400c).
Everything worked fine until the upgrade was made.
Any help will be thankfully received.

After reverting to version 3.0.6 everything works fine. I'm still interested in any info as to what went wrong! I'm running 64bit windows, forgot to mention that in original post.

Re: BSOD on host after upgrade to 3.0.8
Re__BSOD on Upgrade to v3.0.8 --- I have the same problem with my new (2009) HP64bit Vista Home Plus cpu. When I insert the USB Thumb Drive I get an Immediate BSOD with the mesage that "To avoide damage to my machine Windows has shut down." Without trying to use an USB device, the sys seemed to work well. -- I uninstalled 3.0.8 and rebooted, and reinstalled 3.0.8 twice with the same result. I then uninstalled 3.0.8 and rebooted and re-insatalled 3.0.6 and all problems with USB device dissappeared. I have VB running puppy Linux 4.31 and PClinuxOS-2009. I have been running VB for two years on several machines
Any Help with the BSOD wouold be appreciated. Tnx in Advance

These kinds of problems that are reproducible should be reported to bugtracker. You will need to setup an account there as it is on a different system.
It would also help if you can post the ticket number here so other can see the progress, add information, or see the final results.
