[Solved] Vista Host, Slackware 13.0 guest network problem

Hi

I am using , Virtualbox 2.2.4 with windows vista as host and slackware 13.0 as guest. I am not able to ping my adsl router from slackware.
ifconfig dumps my slackware ip to be 192.168.1.4 , vista ip is 192.168.1.2 and modem ip is 192.168.1.1 . Vista is connect to modem through wireless link.
Previously i used XP as guest, at that time networking was fine. Please help

Is there a router in this mix?
Have you tried NAT and does that work?
What about a firewall issue (host or guest)

Hi

I got it resolved, i was assigning static IP to my slackware card. Now put it as dhcp client nd working fine
