I took a look in the forum and on google in general but I didn't find a way...

Is it possible starting from a virtual machine installed (I installed Ubuntu as guest in VirtualBox 3.0.8, I installed some softwares I need to work etc) to create a .iso file so to install everything in a real hardware? if so, how? I found only a way to export in .ovf, but that it works only to install in other virtualizer...

thanks for every reply!

Can this http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15834 be a solution also is the "opposite" direction?
I mean, if I make a backup of my Virtual system, then I install a clean version and finally I substitute the clean installation with the backup it should work right?

That's one thing you can do. A safer method is to use CloneZilla or similar to create an image of the OS and restore that on the physical drive. You might need to install Grub again in the MBR but there are plenty of tutorials for that on the net.
