Problem With Login Screen Fedora Core 11 Hosted on Windows 7

Post by sheperson »

Hi,
I have installed Virtual Box 3.0.4 on Windows 7 RTM.
My guest OS is Fedora Core 11 i386. When I start the VirtualBox, at the login page of the Fedora, the screen is not shown correctly. I have attached a screen shot.
I cannot change the login options because I can see none. All I can do is to hit Enter, type the username, hit Enter, type the password and then Enter again.
This way I can login to Fedora, and after the login, the problem is gone. I mean the problem is only at the login page.
I have assigned 128MB to the Display and also enabled 3D acceleration.
Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

This problem was resolved in the newer releases of VBox. Try updating to 3.06 or 3.08

No It was not!
I managed to download VirtualBox 3.08 over a dial-up connection ( ) and installed it. But still I face the same problem.
Any ideas?

Thanks.
