Windows 7 Guest having issues with video accelerateion

Post by ap35858 »

I have VB 3.0.8 installed on Vista 32-bit Home Premium running a Windows 7 Ultimate Eval Build 7100. I have 3D acceleration enabled in VB console. When I run solitare in the W7 guest, it complains that the hardware is either disabled or is not supported by your video card driver.

Any ideas??

Read Manual about 3D?

Installed Guest Additions in safe mode?

Don't bother with those games. I got the RTM (build 7600) in a VM and I don't see the window the game should have. And 3D is enabled and GA installed with 3D. All I get is a transparent, non-functional piece on my desktop.
