On a recently updated to x64 Windows 7 Ultimate, I was able to use virtualbox normally. When i was running the portable, it allowed me to load x64 bit DVD Images and run x64 bit OS. But when I install it, it doesnt let me. It says that im trying to run a x64 bit DVD image when this computer isnt compatible with x64 bit.
Any Ideas?

This is just a guess but 64 guests need certain features on the CPU and not all 64 bit CPUs have the required features.
See if this helps:

my proccessor doesnt support hardware virtualization, but I didnt need it for the portable version, so why would i need it for the installed version.

I'm not sure what you mean by portable vs installed (I'm new to VB) but the FAQ says:
Q: Does VB support 64 bit guests?
A: Support for 64 bit guests was introduced at version 2.0.0. If you wish to create 64 bit guests then we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version. Note that VirtualBox also supports 64-bit guest operating systems, under the following conditions:
1.You need a 64-bit processor with hardware virtualization support (see User Manual chapter 1.2, Software vs. hardware virtualization (VT-x and AMD-V), page 10) and a 64-bit host operating system.
NOTE: Since version 2.1.0, you can run 64 bit Guests while running a 32 bit Host. The prior requirement for Operating System is only for version 2.0.x. You still need the proper hardware.
2.You must enable hardware virtualization through your BIOS; software virtualization is not supported for 64-bit VMs.
Note: some HP BIOSES have a glitch, When You ENABLE VT-X/AMD-V, You DISABLE it, so do try both ways.

I saw it. It says you need hardware virtualization, which my proccessor doesnt support.
But your not understanding.
It worked on the
portable version, but not on the installed version.

That is not the official release from Sun. Go to their forum for support. Locked.
