What I'm trying to do is use After Effects CS4 with guest windows on a mac.

I have been using the default NAT until I discovered that After Effects needs way to much RAM
and I'd like to use movie files off of my mac.
So I turned on all the settings like it said in the manual for a Bridge network.

But I was wondering if anyone could help explain how I find the files once I put this settings in or if I'm doing it right???
And if there's any info you'd need to know before answering this question clearly let me know.

Well, you could first explain what it is that you want to do and what it needs. Bridged is about networking, and you talk about needing more RAM.

Access to local files from the VM can be done through Shared Folders, available after you installed the Guest Additions, or through a normal network share like Samba.

So a bridge network is not what to use when sharing files between my mac and window?
I've looked up samba and thank you I'll try and use that!!!

Well I gave my virtual system the max Disk space but when I load after effects it still says that there is not enough space.
So I guess I was wondering if I it was possible to have the software on the mac and run just run it on window?

After effects says it needs 1 GB of free space
on my system motherboard for win I have 2311MB
Video memory is 128MB

I guess I'm just confused on what needs to be changed with my Virtual box settings.

Bridged can be used to share files, as you can access the Host from the Guest and vice versa with it. But it only works if you have a router or similar on your network instead of being directly connected to your ISP. You can use Host-Only too for the same effect, only the Guest won't be able to access the internet from that connection.

I think the problem you're seeing is that the program needs 1 GB of RAM, either as total memory, or available memory. If you have 2 GB in your Host now, I suggest you upgrade your memory to at least 3 so the VM can have the 1 GB it needs. The Host will have enough memory left to work with so it won't slow down.

These are the system requirements. It states that there is a Windows and a Mac OS version. The most important requirement is that it says it needs 2 GB of RAM. If you have a license for both Windows and Mac, I recommend you run it on your Mac directly, it will perform better than inside a VM.
