Hi.

I've install Windows 20008 on VirtualBox with 9GB but now primary partition is full and the partition in which the VDI file exists also full.

So is it possible to span primary HD (virtual HD) can span on more than 1 VDI (one in E drive and another on F drive)

Thanks in advance,
Asif.

You should be able to run a software RAID system inside the Guest. The only thing you must do to get that, is to change the controller type from IDE to SCSI or SATA and configure the Guest OS for it. I'm not entirely sure if it will succeed though, since you already have data on the 'hard drive'.

Another thing you can do, is move the entire program files folder to a different hard drive (VDI) and mount that drive in the Guest in the Program Files folder, which should now be empty. You have to check some tutorials on the web to see how that can be done.

I just checked a bit, and it's harder than it sounds to move the Program Files contents. Here is the Google query I used: http://www.google.com/search?client=ope ... 8&oe=utf-8
I this useful site: http://www.realwebdevelopers.com/Conten ... Files.aspx
I hope it all helps.
