Hi!

I had windows shortcut for my virtual client: VBoxManage.exe startvm {machineName}
After version 3.0.4 this stopped working. Upgrading to 3.0.8 didn't help... Client works OK if started from Sub VirtualBox GUI.
Error messages are:

MessageBox:
VBoxManage.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point SUPR3QueryVTxSupported could not be located in the dynamic link library VBoxRT.dll.

Cmd:
VirtualBox Command Line Management Interface Version 3.0.0
(C) 2005-2009 Sun Microsystems, Inc.
All rights reserved.

ERROR: failed to create a session object!
ERROR: code Unknown Status 0x8007007F (0x8007007F) - Unknown Status 0x8007007F (
extended info not available)
Most likely, the VirtualBox COM server is not running or failed to start.

How can I fix this?
thanks and bye,
Damijan

You haven't been copying VirtualBox executables out of their installed folder have you? I notice that you say you are using 3.0.4 (and then tried v3.0.8 ), but the VBox banner says 3.0.0. When I run VBoxManage it gives the exact version number of the build.

Thank you for the idea.

It look's like that the default folder changed from
C:\Program Files\Sun\xVM VirtualBox to C:\Program Files\Sun\VirtualBox
And I never updated my shortcut as I wasn't aware of it.
