Audio CD Problem in Windows 7

Post by oldnorm »

Windows 7 recognises my host CD RW drive and data files can be read from it. Windows sounds can also be heard after installing a Realtek Ac97 driver. A music CD is recognised by Windows Media and it shows it playing and moving on to the next track e.t.c. However the CD sound is not heard. If Windows 7 sounds can be heard by my sound system why can't the CD sound be heard? Any solutions please?

Only solution is to play the audio cd on the Host. VB does not support audio CD's. It's probably too much work for too little demand to build it. Just think about it, who uses CD's in the age of digital music?
