I am using 64bit Linux host, in the past, if I allocate 2 CPUs to VirtualBox , it run faster than 1 CPU; However after I update, running 2 CPUs is very very slow....
How can I find out the root cause of it?

Multi-CPU support in VBox 3 is still pretty shaky. A lot of times it will run faster with > 1 CPU and sometimes it performs much worse. I recommend only using 1 CPU at this time if consistent performance is important.

Understand, just try to know if anything I can do at my side, or anything information I can get and submit to virtualbox team.

@carfield,
What did you update too? I am running 9.04 x64 and it is rock solid. I tested over the weekend and upgraded to 9.10 (Karmic) and it was horrid. I wiped and reinstall 9.04 and all is well once again.
