Hi all,
I am new in this forum, so I first introduce myself...I am Marco and I am from Italy!
I recently installed VirtualBox 3.0.8 (upgrading from the 3.0.6 version) and I have a problem when I try to install the Guest Addition. I go to Devices -> Install Guest Addition but nothing happens.
I am expected to see the warning message "Guest Addition not found on your guest, would you like to download it?" or something like that (when I installed the 3.0.0 version it was working in this way, but since the version 3.0.6 the message does not appear anymore)...what can I do?
I use Windows Vista as host system and Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit as guest system.
Thanks for every reply!

Re: VirtualBox Guest Addition Problem
Click on device and then unmount CD first then click on devices install guest additions. This should mount the CD and show on the desktop.
Then just follow the instructions here. How to setup guest additions for Linux and it even has Xorg configuration suggestions in it
