Talk to motherboard / BIOS from VM?

Is it possible to install the motherboard drivers in a virtual machine and run the manufacturers tweaking programs?

I'd like to use linux as my host OS, but the motherboard support (Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6) only works under windows.

I'm wondering if there's any way that I could run the tweaking program (for example, Dynamic Energy Saver) from within a virtual Windows machine.

No, this is not possible. The VM can't see the host hardware.

No, the tweaking software needs to run on the actual hardware, not simulated hardware.

However, depending on how complex the software is, it may be possible to put it on a BartPE bootable Windows CD. That's what I would be investigating anyway.
