Windows guest os only 800x600 display

Hello ,

I am running windows xp on virtualbox 3.0.8
The windows guest can only show 800x600 as max resolutions.

My Virtualbox Host machine is a Dell laptop (d630) with an intel Crestline Gra[hics card 8 mb 14"xga wide.
Max resolutions is 1280x800. (harwdare I believe)
The laptop os is ubuntu 9.04 and there I have 1280x800 as resolutions.

I do not have 3d support enabled on the guest os. (done that but it doesn help) So I turned it off.

Does anyone have an Idee?

Would you all please read the Manual and the VirtualBox FAQ before opening a topic with the same question every time? We have a Forum Posting Guide here that everyone should have read.
