You need to provide more details.

Host Details
Guest Settings
Type of USB device.
What you have tried.
Error messages.

hi dave

host : vista home premium 32bit Service pack 2
guest : xp sp3 32bit
type of usb device : any

i select from the menu Devices->usb devices->any device
the vista display a message that installing drivers for the virtubox usb device and after while displays a new message that the device is ready

in the guest machine there is no indication for the device and the icon on status bar says that no devices has been connected

if i try again then i get an error message that the previous request for the device is pending without joy even after days :-)
