Hi there

Initialy I was trying to fix the problem on installing guest addition, then I run into this problem of uninstalling 3.0.8 on my Window XPP Host.

To uninstall I clicked on the installer file virtualbox-3.0.8-53138-win downloaded, and I click remove, then it went upto about 3/5 of the process and hangs there, after a long wait (almost an hour if not more), then it prompt to say "install server not responding" (retry / cancel).

I have done many trial such as
- repair, then uninstall
- reinstalling over, then uninstall
- uninstall using control panel
non of the above get pass the above point!

Can anyone help, please?

I don't have any clue, but I tried the following again the next day (first thing after boot up)
- repair and uninstall with the Revo uninstaller again ( I have tried this the day before after a reboot!)

- it just remove it

- and now I will try to install again from scratch!
