Aero Snap in Windows 7

Post by SnapCount »

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems when they go full screen with windows 7 and try to snap a window on the right hand side of the screen. For me, snapping does not work. It works when you snap to the left, to the top and to the bottom. its just getting snapping to work properly on the right side. The workaround atm is to snap it to the top right hand corner - then slide down the mouse on the right hand side in order to snap it to the right.

I noticed it too, and it doesn't matter if you're in full screen or not. If you take a closer look when in full screen, you will see that your cursor is one or two pixels from the edge, but on all the other sides it's not. Replicating the same distance when in windowed mode gives the same misbehaviour. Only by moving the mouse outside the windowed screen makes it 'snap'. No idea how that's done on a native install.

Strangely enough the right side of the desktop was working well before 3.0.6 . I posted a bug report about this, when 3.0.6 came out.
