Kernel error : Ubuntu guest on Windows XP host

Hello,
i have installed Ubuntu server under a Windows XP host and when i launch the VM, i have the following error message :

"This kernel requires the following features not present on the cpu: 0:6
Unable to root - please use a kernel appropriate for your cpu."

I cant't chek the box PAE on the VM settings so how can i do ?
It's urgent.

If you can't enable PAE in the VM settings, boot the VM with the install disc/ISO and recover a broken system. From there follow the questions until you can execute a shell. From there you can install the virtual kernel and remove the server kernel.

Can you give me in more details which commands i must entered for installation of kernel, once after i have choosen hte option 'execute a shell'?

You first state it's urgent, then you take almost two hours to reply. In that time, you could have also checked an Ubuntu book to get familiar with Linux and it's command line. I kindly suggest that you get a book and get yourself familiar with the whole Linux thing.
